Clovis, NM 2025

I was in Clovis NM yesterday! Clovis culture was a group of people who lived in what is now New Mexico. The discovery of the Clovis culture and the Clovis points they left behind led to the theory that the Clovis people were the first Americans. However, more recent evidence suggests that other people arrived in the Americas before the Clovis people.
The Clovis culture theory
The Clovis people crossed the Bering Land Bridge from Siberia to Alaska during the ice age.
They then traveled south through an ice-free corridor and settled in what is now New Mexico.
The Clovis people hunted large herbivores, which may have contributed to the extinction of large carnivores.
The Murray Springs Clovis Site
The Murray Springs Clovis Site is an important early human site in North America.
It contains evidence of Clovis stone tool manufacturing and the butchering of large mammals.

    Lou Jasikoff

I opened the barn that is on my property in Factoryville, Pennsylvania several years ago to house a new venture, the Red Barn Rocks. I sell an eclectic array of minerals, crystals, and gifts. I also work on making the land I own alongside the Tunkhannock Creek a place where people can come and enjoy nature. It is now called the future home of Jasikoff Hydroponic Greenhouse.

That is where life finds me today, still loving life and moving forward. I have five amazing grandchildren. Love to travel North America, extensively going from place to place and I am planning many more trips.

I like to quote the late John Denver when he sang words I lives by, "It's been a good life, all in all."
It sure is and there's still so much to do!
